DAE book a flight for a Tuesday afternoon instead of a weekend and save almost $200 on a round trip to Denver?

I was looking at flights for a weekend getaway and noticed the price dropped by $197 when I shifted my departure to a Tuesday and my return to the following Thursday.

Oh man, @parkermorgan you're totally right. I was exactly the same way, thought it was just some internet rumor people kept repeating. Then I tried it on a flight to Chicago last winter and I was blown away. The gate agent didn't even blink, just gave me a better seat with way more legroom. I've done it maybe five times since then and it's worked every single time, no matter the airline. It's one of those things where you feel like you're getting away with something but it's totally legit.
