I know everyone says dried beans are the ultimate budget food, but my bag of pintos from the discount store went bad after sitting for maybe 6 months.

I opened them up to soak overnight and found these tiny bugs, so now I'm out $3 and a planned meal, and I'm wondering if anyone else has a good spot to buy them that stays fresh longer.
