That time in Phoenix when a whole corner started to lean because the footings were off

We had to tear out two courses and reset the line after the inspector pointed it out. Anyone ever have a footing guy just not show up with the right measurements?

I mean, our footing crew in Tucson uses laser levels now, so that kind of thing is pretty rare. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like that's a basic check they should have caught.
