Lime mortar mix acted totally different in the rain last Tuesday
Threw together a batch the same way I always do, 3:1 with hydrated lime, and it turned to soup on the scaffold before I could even lay a row. Lesson learned, check the forecast first, has anyone else had their mix go weird on a damp morning?

Did the lime have time to soak and slake fully before you mixed it in? If it's still fresh, a damp morning can make it grab moisture way faster and turn the whole batch into pudding.
