Casey_lane73, you got me laughing with that soup comment. I did the exact same thing last month, ended up with this watery mess that looked like I was trying to cook concrete oatmeal. My neighbor came over and asked if I was making a new type of porridge for the garden.

Basically making soup out of that parge coat" - yeah, that's about right. I guess I was trying to turn a bucket of mortar into a gourmet stock. My wife walked by and asked if I was baking a cement cake. Now I'm just staring at this lumpy gray mess wondering if I should throw it out or at least pass it off as modern art. At least it wasn't a total waste, I got a few laughs out of it.
