Our logo was basically invisible at 16 pixels and the fix was way simpler than I expected
I run a small coffee roasting shop in Grand Rapids and for years our logo was this hand drawn thing with three different fonts, which looked fine on a bag but turned into a gray smudge on a phone screen. I kept thinking we needed a full rebrand, which quoted at $4,500. Instead my nephew made me shrink it to an actual 16 pixel square and sit on the couch 10 feet away. The letters turned to mush, so we dropped two fonts, thickened the remaining lines, and added one solid color block behind it. Six months in we still get the same logo on everything and people actually recognize the cup now, has anyone else tried the squint test before paying for a whole new identity?
