Warning: I threw $60 at a rare orchid seed pack and got nothing but mold
Bought a so-called 'exotic hybrid' orchid seed set from an online seller in Florida last spring, followed the instructions to a T, and after 8 weeks I just had a jar of fuzzy green goo. Anyone else have luck with seeds versus just buying a mature plant?

Tried seeds once too. Now I just buy flasked seedlings from Better-Gro.

Skip seeds unless you've got tons of patience and space for failures.
