Gave in and tried those fancy Felco pruners after years of using cheap ones
I always thought spending $60 on pruners was ridiculous until I borrowed my neighbor's pair for an afternoon cutting back roses. The clean cuts and no hand fatigue totally changed my mind - has anyone else been converted after refusing to buy expensive tools?

Did you notice a difference in how long the blades stayed sharp compared to cheap ones? I went through a pair of $15 pruners every season before I switched, so the Felco actually saved me money in the long run. Was that part of what convinced you or was it just the comfort factor?
