Finally got the hang of lining tubes after 4 years in the trade
Used to just ram tubes in with a cheater bar and hope they lined up, ended up wrestling with misaligned flanges every time. About 6 months ago a foreman in Gary showed me how to tack a temporary alignment bar on the top and bottom before doing the full weld. Has anyone else found a trick that cut down their tube setting time by a lot?

@ellis.rose has a point but I've noticed a lot of trades are just fighting things instead of working smarter.
