Just had a full game night derailed by a missing rule book
We were 45 minutes into a 4-player game of Scythe last Saturday at my dining table and realized no one knew how combat resolves, and the guy who brought it forgot the rulebook at home. Ended up googling a PDF on my phone and arguing interpretations for 20 minutes before just quitting early. Has anyone else had a game session fall apart because of a missing manual?

Write down exactly what was forgotten on a piece of paper and tape it to the front door at eye level. That way nobody can miss it when they walk out. Also set a phone alarm for the night before and label it with what you need to grab so you see it on your lockscreen. Doing both of those things has saved my ass more times than I can count lol.
