I finally hit 500 hours on my power hammer and learned a scary lesson

I crossed that mark yesterday and realized my dies are way more worn than I thought. I've been getting inconsistent draws on my last 20 leaf springs and never connected it to the hammer. Anyone else track their tooling hours and notice something shift around a certain number?

Yeah but 500 hours on a power hammer is barely broken in. Might be worth checking if your dies are actually worn or you just need to adjust your heat.
