Appreciation post: I thought a 2-pound cross peen was too light for general work

Used one for a month after my old 3-pounder broke. It's way better for moving metal on smaller projects, less tiring. Anyone else switch to a lighter hammer and stick with it?

Exactly. Lighter tools are just more efficient sometimes.

My old cordless drill weighs like five pounds and feels like holding a brick after ten minutes. I tried my neighbor's new lightweight driver last weekend and it was a total game changer for putting up shelves. Sometimes you don't realize how much effort you're wasting just fighting the tool itself. There's a reason astronauts don't take sledgehammers to space.
