Remember when a power outage in my apartment building killed the finale of a show I'd been binging for three days?

Seriously? It's just a TV show, you can watch it later. People act like the world ended over a streaming glitch.

So what's the point of paying for a service that can't work when everyone actually wants to use it? It's not about the show, it's about the broken promise of on-demand streaming. They sell convenience but deliver a traffic jam. Feels like we're just renting temporary access to stuff that can vanish or glitch out anytime.

Yeah, the "broken promise of on-demand" part really hits. It's frustrating to pay for the idea of watching anything, anytime, only to get hit with the spinning wheel when something big drops. That traffic jam feeling makes the whole service feel cheap.
