My brother-in-law said he fell asleep during the first episode of 'Severance'.

He told me this at a barbecue last weekend. Said he gave up after twenty minutes. I told him to push through to episode three. He texted me yesterday, said he finished the whole season in two days. Anyone have a show that starts slow but gets you hooked like that?

How many shows need that extra push to get good? I almost gave up on The Wire after the first few episodes too. Glad your brother stuck with it.

Remember when people said you had to watch a whole season of Parks and Rec? I used to brush that off as too much work. But forcing myself through the first season of that show totally proved me wrong. It went from a rough Office copy to one of my favorite comedies.
