Ignored The Leftovers for a year, then my sister sat me down and made me watch 4 episodes
I always skipped The Leftovers because the trailer looked so grim and I figured it was just sad people staring at walls. My sister in Phoenix kept bugging me about it, so one weekend I gave it 4 episodes and that was it, I finished all 3 seasons in about 9 days. The thing that got me was how it sneaks up on you, you think it's only about the mystery and then episode 6 of season 2 hits you like a truck. What show did you write off way too fast and then end up loving?
