Warning: That one busy Saturday last month nearly ruined my clippers for good
I had back to back bookings from 8am until 6pm with barely a break to eat. A guy named Marcus came in for a skin fade, and I was in such a hurry I forgot to oil my blades between cuts. By the time I got to him, my clippers were burning hot and started pulling his hair, and I had to stop and apologize, then borrow my coworker's tool while mine cooled down. Has anyone else had a day like this where things snowballed because of the rush?

Man I saw a barber on YouTube say this exact thing happens when you skip oiling.

Yeah @the_alice I've heard that too, skipping oil definitely messes with your hair health over time. My barber told me it's like not moisturizing your face, your scalp just dries out and gets flaky. I mean maybe it's just me but I notice a huge difference when I actually remember to oil.
