Walked into a small-town barbershop in Ohio last month
The guy was using a straight razor on a kid maybe 12 years old, no gloves, no paper on the headrest. I mean, is that still a thing people do or am I just being picky about sanitation? Anyone else see this at older shops?

Honestly that "no gloves, no paper" thing is just how old school places roll but it feels like there's no middle ground anywhere anymore.

My uncle ran a diner for 30 years and he STILL won't let anyone wear gloves because he says it makes the food taste like plastic. He also refuses to put napkins on the table, just a roll of paper towels everyone shares. Makes you wonder how we all survived the 80s honestly.
