Question about client turnaround times after I read a stat that 7 in 10 barbers rush a cut in under 15 min
So I was reading a trade survey last Monday that said 68% of barbers finish a standard cut in 15 minutes or less, and I honestly felt called out. Half of me thinks that speed is a skill you earn after years of reps and clients respect it. The other half thinks we are training guys to be fast instead of good, and the fade is where it shows first. I know my numbers because I timed myself for a week with a stopwatch on my phone and I averaged 22 minutes per cut. A 15 minute buzz and taper is one thing but a skin fade with a beard lineup is not the same job. So which side are you on, is finishing in 12 to 15 minutes a flex or a red flag? Curious what your actual clock time looks like on a busy Saturday.
