Overheard a 22 year old say trimming beards is 'boomer work' today in Columbus

That kid made me remember my first clipper set in 1987 cost me $160 and took 3 months of haircuts to pay off, so I asked him if he knows how to fix a client's cowlick with a hot towel and he stared at me blank, anyone else feel like some new barbers skip the classics for Instagram fades?
