I finally ditched the clippers for scissor over comb on my fades after 8 years
For years I ran a 0 to a 1 guard up the sides and blended it out with clippers. A barber named Marcus in Dallas showed me his scissor over comb method about 6 weeks ago and I gave it a shot on my regulars. My fade work looks softer now and I get way fewer guys pointing out lines I missed. Anyone else switch to mostly scissor work on the sides or do you still lean on guards for speed?
