Hot take: I taped the neck strip to the back of the chair wrong for 3 years
Honestly I felt like such an idiot last Tuesday. A guy sat down for a skin fade and I noticed a line of hair on his collar that I had to brush off, which never happens to me. That got me thinking about my setup and I finally looked at my chair station real close. Turns out I had been putting the neck strip on top of the cape instead of under it this whole time, so loose hairs kept slipping down his neck. I asked the guy who owns the shop next door and he said he did the exact same thing for his first 2 years before a client told him. So now I'm curious, what small thing did you do wrong for way too long before someone finally pointed it out?
