Silicone sling changed my mind about baking gadgets

For years I flipped hot loaves straight onto a wire rack and dealt with cracked tops and squished sides. My buddy in Austin kept pushing this silicone sling thing, and I figured it was just another gadget taking up drawer space. Then last Sunday I tried it with a sourdough that had stuck to the pan twice before. It lifted the whole loaf clean in one move, no dents, and now I get why people swear by them. Has anyone else had a cheap tool quietly fix a problem they thought was just normal?
