Overheard a lady in the bread aisle say her sourdough starter is 14 years old, so now I'm side-eyeing my 3 month old one
She said she feeds it every morning at 6am no matter what, which sounds exhausting, but my loaves keep coming out flat and gummy, has anyone else tried just ignoring their starter for a few days and seen it improve?
