My $15 thrift store copy of Miami Connection was missing the last 20 minutes
I grabbed a DVD of Miami Connection from a Goodwill in Portland last Saturday for $15. Got home, made popcorn, and right when the ninjas attack the band the disc just skips to the menu. Turns out the last chapter is scratched beyond repair. Anyone else find a supposedly "fun bad movie" and get robbed of the best parts?

Man that's brutal. Missing the ninja attack is like buying a pizza and finding out someone ate the best slice before you got home. Miami Connection is already a masterpiece of accidental genius and you got the version where the director's cut is actually just the broken disc. Honestly though that $15 price tag at Goodwill is insult enough considering I've seen that movie in dollar bins before. Maybe the universe was trying to save you from the ridiculous shirtless fight scene where they're all yelling about friends through eternity. Still though I'd be tempted to just hold the disc up to the light and pretend I can see the ending through the scratches.

@morgan512 $15 is robbery for any Goodwill find, scratched or not. Miami Connection is a gem but that price tag feels like the thrift store knew exactly what they had. I would probably still buy it and just hope the scratches buff out with some toothpaste. The shirtless fight scene is the best part, no getting around that.
