I used to laugh at Troll 2 but Plan 9 is the one that actually holds up for me now
I always wrote Plan 9 off as boring until a friend in Cleveland made me watch it back to back with Troll 2, and the wooden acting and cardboard sets in Plan 9 landed way harder for me. What bad movie do you defend that everyone else calls unwatchable?

What was it about watching them back to back that flipped it for you? I tried showing a buddy Plan 9 and he tapped out like ten minutes in, so I'm curious what the trick is. Did the bad acting just start reading as funny once you had Troll 2 as a warmup?
