Last Tuesday was one of those days where everything just clicked

I was chasing a ghost in a Cirrus SR22's autopilot since Monday. The trim would drift right about 2 degrees during cruise and nobody could figure out why. I finally decided to check the pitch trim servo connector for corrosion even though it looked clean. Sure enough, there was a tiny bit of green crust on pin 4 that multimeter readings kept missing. Replaced that one pin and everything went back to perfect. Has anyone else had corrosion hide like that on a connector that looks good from the outside?

Oh man, that "looks clean but isn't" thing gets me every time. I had a similar headache with a dryer plug on my grooming shop's big commercial machine - no visible rust, but a tiny bit of green on one prong was causing it to trip the breaker every few loads. Drove me nuts for a week before I finally sanded it down.

Did you check the wire itself for wicking corrosion under the insulation or just the pin? Was there any sign of moisture inside the connector housing when you popped it open?
