Rant: People keep using the wrong size wrench on caliper bracket bolts

I've seen three stripped bolts this month because someone used a 17mm on a 15mm bolt, thinking it was 'close enough'. Anyone else notice this happening more often lately?

Man, that's brutal. Saw a guy at the shop last week try to force a 12-point socket on a rounded-off bracket bolt. Ended up having to torch the thing off. It's like some folks think a little wiggle room is fine until the whole head shears clean. Just grab the right tool, it's not that hard.

Tried a bolt extractor set on a rounded lug nut last month. It bit right in and spun it off without a fight. Sometimes the right tool really is just sitting on the shelf.

Honestly, it drives me nuts. Saw a guy at the parts counter last week trying to buy a single 18mm because he "made the 19mm work" on his lugs and wrecked them. It's not close enough, it's just wrong. That little bit of slop ruins the bolt and your whole day. Just go find the right socket, it takes two minutes.
