Rant: My paint job got roasted by an old timer in Tulsa last spring
I was showing off this silver metallic respray I did on a 2018 F-150 down at the parts counter. This retired body guy just looked at it and said 'you're laying it on too wet, see those tiger stripes?' He was right. I switched to a slower reducer and dropped my gun pressure from 30 to 22 psi. Now my clear lays down glassy with way less sanding afterwards. Anyone else had to unlearn bad habits from watching YouTube tutorials?
