Had a 3M product fail on me today, first time in 15 years
I was laying down some 3M two part filler on a rear quarter panel this morning and it just wouldn't kick off. Sat there for 45 minutes still tacky, which never happens unless the mix ratio is off. I checked my gun and the nozzle was clogged, so one side barely got any hardener through. Ended up having to strip it all back with a DA and start over, lost about 2 hours of my day on a simple repair. Anyone else had a dispenser gun crap out on them mid job, or is it just my luck? I'm thinking of switching to a manual mix board for small jobs now.
