Vent: my neighbor's yard went from a mud pit to golf course green in 5 weeks and I need to know his secret
So my next door neighbor in Smyrna had this bare dirt patch behind his fence for like 2 years, total eyesore, weeds and ruts from where his kid rode dirt bikes. Then out of nowhere I look out my kitchen window 5 weeks ago and there's a crew out there with machines. I kid you not, by the end of the first stage they had graded the whole thing flat with these big rolls of sod stacked on a trailer in the driveway. Now it's this thick green carpet and my dog just stands at the fence staring at it like it's a different planet. He won't say what he paid but I heard one of the guys mention 4 pallets of something before they laid it down. Has anyone here redone a lawn like that, and how long before it actually looks bad again?
