Finally caught the Green Flash at Sunset Cliffs, 3rd try

Went down to Sunset Cliffs last Thursday and after missing it twice before, I actually saw the green flash right as the sun dipped. It only lasted a second or two, but I caught it with my phone in burst mode somehow. Has anyone else managed to photograph it, or is it more of a naked eye thing?

Wait, did you actually see it, or did you just convince yourself you did? I've been down there maybe a dozen times and every time someone claims they caught it, it turns out to be a trick of the light or their camera's color balance messing with them. The whole thing sounds like a myth to me, like Bigfoot or a unicorn. In my experience, the sun just sinks and that's it, no flash, no magic. I'd bet money a lot of these photos are just editing artifacts or a weird sunspot on the lens, not an actual atmospheric event. Take this with a grain of salt, but I'm more likely to believe in a UFO sighting than a green flash on a phone camera.
