Open shelves went from my nightmare to my favorite kitchen feature

I was sure they'd be impossible to keep clean. Seeing how they force me to put things away changed my mind, right?

Wow, does that visual pressure to stay neat actually reduce stress or just create a different kind of anxiety? I'm torn between loving the idea and fearing the constant judgment from my own dishes.
