TIL turning 33 in Tulsa broke my streak of dreading birthdays

Hit 33 last Tuesday and for the first time since I was like 19, I didn't spend the day feeling weird about getting older. I think it's because I stopped tracking what I 'should' have done by now and just spent the evening with two regulars at the bar who didn't even know it was my birthday. Made me wonder if milestones only hit hard when you actually care about the number. Anyone else have an age that surprised them by just feeling normal?
