Just realized I was wrong about tracing paper for my wood burning, a $6 roll at Hobby Lobby fixed it
I always thought tracing your pattern straight onto the wood was cheating, so I spent weeks redrawing stuff freehand and it kept coming out crooked. Last week I finally tried laying a sheet of graphite paper under my sketch and going over it with a ballpoint pen, and the lines came out clean on the first try. Should have done this ages ago instead of wasting all that sandpaper. Anyone else trace their patterns or do you freehand everything?
