TIL a telescoping pole saw beats a ladder for palm fronds every time

Had a 30-foot queen palm in Orlando dropping fronds faster than I could climb, so I grabbed a 16-foot telescoping pole saw on a whim. The reach and angle let me cut from the ground without hauling a ladder across the yard, and I cleared it in under an hour. Anyone else switch to ground-based sawing for tall single trunks?

Wait, that thing actually reaches 30 feet without losing power?
