The grapple on my skid steer snapped mid lift on a big oak removal Tuesday
I was pulling a heavy limb section out of a tight backyard when the hydraulic grapple literally cracked at the pivot pin mount. The whole branch swung loose and took out a section of fence on the neighbor's side. Anyone else have a critical attachment fail on a job and how did you handle the cleanup and repair timeline?

I read a tree service forum where a guy lost a whole grapple bucket on a highway job, took out a guardrail and two mailboxes. He had to pay out of pocket because his insurance said "wear and tear" wasn't covered. Might be worth checking your policy wording real close before you submit anything.
