Found out my dryer vent run was 40 feet and that's apparently the max, no wonder it kept clogging
Was reading the install manual for a Whirlpool dryer I picked up off Marketplace and it says 40 feet is the limit for a straight vent run, less if you add elbows. I measured the run at this house on Pine Street and it came out to 38 feet with 4 turns, so it was basically choking itself the whole time. Pulled about 2 pounds of lint out of the middle section last Saturday. Anyone else run into max vent length stuff on service calls, or do most folks just clean it and move on?
