Watched season one of One Piece dubbed, then switched to subbed, and now I finally get the hype
I put off the show for months because the dub voices felt flat to me, so I tried the original Japanese track and the difference in emotion during the Arlong Park arc hit me in like 10 minutes. Luffy screaming at Nami on the ground just does not land the same in English to me. Anyone else start a huge show in one version and have to restart it in the other?
