My aunt said my favorite anime is for kids and it just bummed me out.
She saw my stuff and kept saying I should watch other things. Idk, her shows seem pretty boring to me.

Back in elementary school, my mom always mixed up Pikachu and Charizard. She said it was a waste of time and money just like your mom. I found the best way was to actually show her how to play the card game. We spent a Saturday learning the rules together. She started to see the strategy and it became something we could talk about. It turned her criticism into a shared hobby over time.
