Just hit 500 episodes of One Piece and I'm lowkey mad about it

I started watching back in March thinking I'd catch up in a few months, but here I am 8 months later and I still have over 400 episodes left. The pacing in the later arcs is brutal, like 10 minutes of recap and 5 minutes of new content per episode. Anyone else feel like the show is punishing you for wanting to finish it?

Gotta say I completely disagree here. The recap thing is annoying sometimes but I actually think the slow pacing is what makes the big moments hit SO much harder. Like when you finally get through all that setup and then something huge happens, it feels earned because you sat through the slower parts.
