Tuesday was chaos at my coffee cart on 6th Street, and I actually ran out of ice by 10am
The Blue Front Brewery event brought double my normal crowd and I was scrambling to scoop from the backup cooler, plus my card reader froze for 15 minutes right when the line was 20 deep, has anyone else hit a sudden surge like that and how did you prep for it next time?

Drove through a flash flood once that turned my usual 20 minute commute into a two hour crawl, and I ended up calling my supplier to see if they'd ever dealt with that kind of backup. They laughed and said they keep a secret stash of emergency stock in their own trunk now, which honestly sounded sketchy but kind of brilliant. Ever since that day I've kept a spare cooler of ice in my trunk too, just in case the universe decides to test my patience again.
