Vent: my coworker said 'you always do that' and now I can't stop replaying it
Last Tuesday I was covering the register at work and a newer guy named Dave told me I always rush through things when I'm nervous. It was a small thing, just me fumbling with a receipt roll while a line built up, and he said it quiet and friendly. But it's been 9 days and I keep hearing it whenever I'm doing anything fast, even making lunch at home. I don't think I rush, I think I'm just used to moving quick, but maybe that's the same thing? Has anyone else had one random comment from a coworker just live in their head like this? I can't tell if he meant it as advice or if I'm reading way too much into a 5 second moment.
