Told my crew to stop cleaning up at 2pm and the drywall punch list cut in half
Happened on a 3,200 sq ft remodel in Sac. Foreman usually has guys sweep and stack scraps starting around 2. I said leave it, keep hanging until 4.
Punch list went from 11 items to 4. Turned out guys were rushing the last wall so they could clean.
Now I wonder if I'm underthinking every other rule I've had for 12 years. What's a job site habit you dropped that actually helped?
