That time my phone alarm stopped working and I blamed my cat for 3 days
Last week I kept waking up late and I was so sure my cat was somehow hitting the snooze button on my phone at night. I even moved my phone to the nightstand drawer to keep her away from it. Turns out my alarm sound somehow got switched to a silent tone after the last iOS update. It took me 72 hours and a full breakdown to figure that out. Has anyone else had an update mess with something basic like that?

Doesn't the blame game just feel a little too easy here though?

My iPhone did something similar after an update back in March. The ringer volume just went to zero by itself overnight. I blamed my toddler for two days before I checked the settings. These updates have a bad habit of quietly changing things nobody asked for.
