Saw my neighbor's yard go from dead brown to golf course green in 9 days and now I'm questioning my whole watering schedule
So my next door neighbor Dave had this patchy yellow lawn all summer, looked like straw. I kid you not, 9 days ago I come home and it's green. Not kinda green. Green green. I asked him what he did and he just shrugged and said "water." That's it. That's the secret. Water. Meanwhile I've been out there every other evening with the hose and mine still looks like toast. Now I can't stop thinking about it. Am I under watering? Over watering? Is his soil just better? I went out at 6am today just to stare at his grass like a weirdo.
How often are you guys watering? Because "whenever Dave does" is not working for me.
