I kept redoing my client's driveway estimate because I thought I was missing something

A homeowner asked me for a quote on a 400 square foot concrete driveway in Cincinnati. I spent like two hours checking my math on materials and labor, then went back the next day to measure again because I was sure my price was wrong. Finally I just sent the number I had, and they booked it immediately. Maybe it's just me, but does anyone else get stuck in a loop like that before sending a simple quote?

Man, that hits home. I just did the same thing last week with a deck quote. Measured it three times, recalculated the board feet, and still sat there staring at the final number for an hour before hitting send. The client just said "perfect" and signed. We always assume we've messed up the math when the price seems fair to us.

But what if you actually did mess up the math? I'd rather check it twice than eat a huge loss on a job, lol.
