The plumber's list of words from a duplex in the heights

I was over at a friend's place off Constitution fixing her kitchen sink and her neighbor, a plumber, was talking about how he keeps a little notebook of things homeowners say. He read me one from last Tuesday: "The water pressure feels sad." I laughed so hard I almost dropped my wrench. It made me think about how we describe home problems with feelings instead of facts, and honestly that might be why we get charged extra. Has anyone else heard a contractor quote a weird phrase back at them?

I've heard "the wall is tired" and charged the guy double because clearly his house needed a nap.
