That old electrician in Phoenix talked me out of hardwiring everything

He said 'every wire you bury in the wall is a bet against your own future' while we were swapping out a panel in 108 degree heat. Now I spec more wireless zones on commercial jobs - has anyone else gone that route for retrofit work?

Wait, isn't that old school thinking a bit outdated now? Wireless still needs power and signal boosters, plus you're betting on batteries dying at the worst time.
