PSA: Had a keypad go dead right after install in a Phoenix condo.
Client called an hour after I left saying the panel was beeping. Drove back, found a loose wire on the transformer block. Tightened it with a Wera screwdriver and the system came right up. Anyone else run into that specific transformer connection issue?

Loose wires happen, but that's on the installer for not checking connections before leaving. Should've caught that during final testing.

Yeah but benlewis is right, stuff can feel tight and still come loose.

Man, that's the worst feeling, isn't it? Getting that call right after you thought you were done for the day. I swear, sometimes those little terminal block screws feel tight, but they just need that last little quarter-turn to really bite. Had a similar thing happen with a motion sensor wire last month, drove me nuts for an hour. Glad you got it sorted quick, at least.
