Caught a major flaw in my wireless sensor setup yesterday
I was testing a new wireless door sensor and found it kept dropping signal. After some digging, I realized the control panel was too far from the sensor, causing interference. I moved the panel to a central location and now all sensors connect reliably. Always check the distance and obstacles during install to avoid this.

Actually, it's not always just stuff in the way. Other gadgets can mess with the signal too.

Microwaves are the worst for this, they'll kill a signal every time. Try moving your router away from other electronics.

I had a motion sensor that kept failing because it was behind a metal filing cabinet. Turns out, wireless tech is great until you actually put stuff in the way. In my setup, moving it just a foot made all the difference. Your mileage may vary, but it's always something simple like that.
